MALS@50 Still Serving Justice For All Dining Experience

Memphis Area Legal Services will keep the spirit of the Justice For All Ball alive and honor our 50 years of service to the Memphis metropolitan area with a virtual dinner provided by Napa Cafe and hosted by Glenda Hastings. The night will include a three course meal with paired wines packaged to finish at home. In addition, attendants will have the opportunity participate in our popular Wine Pull event.

We appreciate your participation. As you are aware, the current pandemic has been particularly difficult for the most vulnerable in our community. Your support is more important now than ever before. Here are just a few ways that your donation serves our community:

• We serve seniors and victims of domestic violence to escape physical and financial abuse through our Family/Senior Law Unit.
• We serve families by helping to avoid evictions and foreclosures through our Memphis Fair Housing Center (MFHC).
• Provides representation in cases related to consumer fraud and unfair debt collections through our
• Expands pro bono/volunteer programs such as Courthouse Advice & Counsel Clinic/Attorney of the Day and Veterans Pro Bono Clinic through our Private Attorney Involvement/Pro Bono program.
• Helps children and their families with legal challenges that adversely impact health outcomes through our medical-legal partnership, a collaboration with Methodist Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.
